Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Try it before you pay

BubbleTranslate is free to install and gives you ten translations a day indefinitely, with no account and no card. Pro changes exactly one thing: it removes that daily limit. Everything else about the app is identical.

So the honest advice is to run the free version first and confirm the bubble appears where you expect it to, in the applications you actually read. That is where a machine-specific problem will show up, and it costs nothing to find out.

2. Refunds

If you ask within 14 days of the payment, we will refund it in full. You do not have to give a reason, and we will not ask you to justify it.

After 14 days we will still look at a request, and we will refund where it is fair to — a duplicate charge, a renewal you did not intend and have not used, or a fault on our side that stopped the app working. We do not generally refund a period you have used and been able to use.

Refunds are returned to the payment method you used. How long the money takes to appear is up to your bank and your payment provider, and is usually somewhere between a few days and two weeks.

Refunding a licence ends the entitlement it granted. The app returns to the free tier, keeps your settings, and carries on working with ten translations a day.

Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer in the UK, the EU or Turkey, you have a legal right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days. The policy above is written to meet that right, and where the law gives you more than this policy does, the law wins. Nothing here removes a right you have as a consumer.

3. Cancelling a subscription

Cancelling and refunding are different things, and it is worth being clear about which you want. Cancelling stops future charges. It does not return money already paid, and it does not cut short the period you are in.

When you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for. Someone who cancels a yearly licence in its second month has paid for ten more months and keeps them. We do not take back time you have bought.

To cancel, open the app's Account tab and follow the link to the account page, or write to support@bubbletranslate.app and we will do it for you.

4. If you bought in Turkey

Turkish purchases work differently, and there is nothing to cancel.

A licence bought through PayTR is sold for a fixed term and does not renew automatically. It ends on a date, which the account page shows you, and no further charge is ever made. If you want to carry on afterwards, you buy another term.

The 14-day refund in section 2 applies to Turkish purchases in the same way as to any other.

5. How to ask for a refund

Write to support@bubbletranslate.app. To find your purchase we need one of the following:

• your licence key;
• the email address used at checkout;
• the payment reference or order number from your receipt.

We aim to answer within two business days, and to process an approved refund within five.

If you bought outside Turkey, the sale was made through Paddle as merchant of record, and your receipt comes from them. You can raise a refund with Paddle directly or with us; either reaches the same place.

6. Before you start a chargeback

Please write to us first. A chargeback costs both of us time and fees, and almost everything people open one for — a charge they did not recognise, a renewal they meant to cancel, an app that would not start — is something we would simply have refunded.
